Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has hinted to talkSPORT there could be a few late comings and goings from Parkhead as the clock ticks down on transfer deadline day.The January transfer window in Scotland will officially shut at midnight on Thursday, an hour later than south of the border, and the Bhoys have been linked with a number of last-ditch swoops.Ukraine international winger Maryan Shved, 21, has reportedly undergone a medical with the club but his move has not yet been confirmed, while there are also claims Rodgers is on the hunt for defensive reinforcements, with Borussia Dortmund full-backJeremy Toljan linked.2

Rodgers joined the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast on Thursday to share the latest from Celtic Park, and he said: We probably wont be doing too much business.There are going to be a few guys who will probably go out on loan, and there are key areas where we want to bring players in, but whether we can do that or not, we shall see.There is always communication with other managers and Ive already been on the phone this morning and someone who is looking at one or two of our players.Thats how it is throughout the day. Quizzed by Hoops fans Alan Brazil if he is looking to specifically sign a defender before the 12am deadline, Rodgers coyly added: Were looking for good players, Al!Its no secret there are areas we want to be better in.The difficulty I have here is I have good players and over the last couple of years they have developed and improved so well, theyve been absolutely brilliant. So for us to bring in players better than that, that costs money.2
