Everton vs Watford: Hornets fans to taunt Marco Silva with rubber snakes during Premier League clash
Watford fans are reportedly travelling to the match against Everton armed with rubber snakes to taunt Marco Silva.Silva, the Everton manager, was in charge of Watford this time last year, being appointed in May 2017.1

Silva earned himself no admirers over his exit from Watford and move to Everton

However, it was around this time that the club’s form fell off a cliff, a couple of weeks after Everton made an approach to hire the Portuguese following the sacking of Ronald Koeman.Watford rejected the approach, but they ended up sacking Silva on January 21, citing an ‘unwarranted approach by a Premier League rival’ that caused “significant deterioration in both focus and results’. Four months after his sacking, Silva was hired by the club who approached him while still at Watford – Everton.The Vicarage Road club reported Everton to the Premier league over an alleged illegal approach for Silva, and they remain in a ‘disciplinary process’ against the Toffees heading into Monday night’s clash.Watford supporters turned on Silva over his decision to join the club who are alleged to have made an illegal approach for him, and he is widely referred to as a ‘snake’ on social media.

And, according to the Daily Star, the Vicarage Road faithful have used their insult to come up with a way to taunt Silva when the two club’s meet this evening.
