Tottenham Hotspur fans across the globe are celebrating South Korea being knocked out of the Asian Cup by Qatar.With an injury crisis stifling the squad, and playing a role in their Carabao Cup semi-final second leg defeat to Chelsea, Spurs supporters needed some good news.1

Heung-Min Son, away at an international tournament for the second time this season, looked set to be out of manager Mauricio Pochettino’s plans until at least early February, leaving the Argentine with just Fernando Llorente as his only recognised senior forward.But a 1-0 defeat to Qatar in the quarter-finals means the South Korean ace will be heading back to London sooner than expected.And while most fans insisted they respected both the player and his nation, they couldn’t hide their delight at the news he would be on his way back.You can see what they said on Twitter below.
