Newport boss Mike Flynn said: “What an amazing achievement by these players. I thought we were excellent, we were absolutely superb.“The penalties were a situation of what will be, will be. But I had full faith in these players.”For Tranmere, they claimed a 2-1 victory over Forest Green over their two ties with James Norwood scoring the goal to send them to Wembley.Speaking after their win, Tranmere boss Micky Mellon said: We’ll enjoy this evening because you have to enjoy getting to Wembley – it’s every club’s, fan’s, player’s and manager’s dream.“But we’ll get them prepared and get ready to go again to try to gain the next place out of the division.Getty3
