However, Rodgers said he wasn’t sure whether Leicester would sign the Belgian but made it clear both he and the club would like Tielemans on board. On Tielemans, Rodgers said: What hes paid to do is create and score and hes doing it very well.It was a wonderful cross from James [Maddison] and its important you have players that are hungry to score and it was a great strike as well in a game that was very, very close.Hes shown great efficiency since hes been here and for his age hes got great maturity in his game and Im very pleased for him.Rodgers suggested he wants Tielemans to sign permanently3

Im not sure [whether Leicester will sign Tielemans permanently]. I think there will be dialogue between both clubs. Hes clearly a player we would like to work with but I cant really add much more to that.I can understand the supporters will like to watch a young player like that and Im sure the club will do everything they possibly can to bring him in.Rodgers also hailed his ‘hungry’ young players who are supported by a ‘fantastic’ group of senior players. He added:The beauty with this squad is that theyre very coachable, theyre very hungry to improve and they dont think theyve made it and theyre humble.Leicester are a club who look to be heading in the right direction3

Theyre supported by a fantastic group of senior players that are humble and want to be the best that they can be so the squad dynamic is really good.I dont think we need any wholesale changes in the summer. Weve got a really good group that will develop and if we can add a few bits of real quality to that as opposed to numbers then that can help them push on.”
